Terms of Service

1. Service Agreement

By scheduling a repair with TrueFix San Diego ("TrueFix," "we," "us"), you agree to these terms. We provide residential and commercial appliance repair services in the San Diego County areas listed on our Service Areas page.

2. Appointments and Scheduling

• Appointment windows are estimates. We will contact you if we are running late or need to reschedule.
• Please have an adult (18+) present during the service visit.
• Please let us know as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Any cancellation or missed-appointment charge will be explained to you when the appointment is booked.
• For condo and HOA buildings, please arrange building access, parking and any elevator reservation in advance, or let us know what the building requires.

3. Pricing and Payment

• The price for a repair is given to you before any repair work begins, and no repair proceeds without your approval.
• Payment is due upon completion of service unless agreed otherwise in writing.
• Accepted payment methods will be confirmed when your appointment is booked.
• Price ranges shown online are general guidance. Your price depends on the diagnosis and the parts required.

4. Warranty

• The warranty terms that apply to a repair are stated on your written quote or invoice.
• Any warranty covers the specific repair performed. It does not cover new or unrelated failures.
• Warranty is void if the appliance is tampered with by a third party after our repair.
• Parts are sourced as OEM (original equipment manufacturer) or equivalent quality aftermarket.

5. Limitations of Liability

Our liability for any repair is limited to the cost of that repair. We are not responsible for:

• Pre-existing damage or wear unrelated to the repair
• Food spoilage or loss resulting from appliance failure
• Consequential or incidental damages
• Appliances that are deemed beyond economical repair

6. Parts and Availability

Some repairs can be completed on the first visit; others need a part ordered for your specific model. If a part must be ordered, we will tell you the expected wait before you approve the repair. Parts availability may extend repair timelines.

7. Service Area

We serve the San Diego County neighborhoods and cities listed on our Service Areas page, including La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Downtown, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Escondido, Poway, La Mesa, El Cajon, Santee, Chula Vista and Imperial Beach.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
